Just a hint Joe. A red white and blue head will be a gobbler. A pale blue head is always a hen.
Congrats on a unique bird. :eusa-dance:

Re: The new crank

.....so what does the new crank cost in the US and why so much? Anthony  It seems much more complex than the C-2. It’s just a more sophisticated device. If the C-2 is $169 and the Charger is $229, the Charger is more for the money, IMO. If anyone actually paid $169 for the C2 they ...

I'm using post image. Who do you use ? I think the original post image was hacked. I found a new link and all my pic...

For those of you that have this scope do you think it will be brighter than my Twilight DX on my M405? I was thinking of buying a Hawke XB30Pro before next season. Thanks in advance
This scope is the XB30 Pro. Just rebranded and a lot cheaper.

Re: Trophy Ridge XV530iR has arrived.... Wow !

Gene you are correct about them being a tad bright when new. I have seen several of the guys that got one last deer season to hunt with say that they took out the new battery and swapped it for a used one out of their auto FOBs and it did a much better job on the low end for brightness control.

Re: Speed ring screw on DLX

On my XV530IR Trophy Ridge scope the speed dial was moving enough to change settings when shooting straight out of the box. I tightened down that little screw a few turns and it has not moved since and is fairly stiff to change the settings by hand. It is fixed.

Re: Ground blind ripoff

I solve this problem by wearing a full on ghille suit, or even just a Leafy Wear suit. Far better than a ground blind IMO as it is ultra portable and I can setup where ever I need to based on what the game is doing. If you can sit still and don't stink a ghille suit is the way to go. Deer generally...
