Re: bolts for 335 micro with Dr. Stirrup

My Mirco 335 came with stock 16.5" bolts does it make any difference if I use 18" or longer bolts? Would I notice any improvements in accuracy, groupings, distance etc? I'm new at this and I'm trying to understand. Besides what Boo says about too long sticking beyond stirrup that I understand, so w...

Re: Impression on the Bulldog at Boo's place

I am not sure about 14 inch draw at 280 lbs.
I think my limit was the Matrix 380, and now that my back is starting to give me a problem , I am going to have to get a C2 crank.
Again I am not tall 5' 6" and 68 years old and not getting any younger.

Re: boltcutter broadhead

Bolt cutters always worked for me and I would not change to anything else.
Only had one deer go more than 30 yards after the shot.
Placement is much more important.

380 have had for 2 years , 3 deer no problems .
Although it probably has less then 50 shots on it.

Re: First look: Bulldog & Micro 355

The new products all look great.

But my Matrix 380 has a proven track record and I am not going to change a thing.

Except, I am getting older and a cocking aid my be on my list.

Re: What's in your "kill kit".

All I bring to the blind is my crossbow with arrows and a thermos of coffee. I keep my after the kill bag in the truck, no need for it till I have shot a deer. After I have shot a deer it takes me 15 minutes to walk to the truck, and 15 minutes to walk back, that gives the deer 30 minutes to expire....
